MARGARET "PEGGY" JORDING Germantown Hills- Margaret "Peggy" Jording, 74, of Germantown Hills, formerly of Roanoke, passed away at 2:20 am on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on December 19, 1934 in Roanoke, a daughter of Carl and Agnes Mischler Fehr. She married Charles Jording on July 1, 1956 at the Roanoke United Methodist Church. He survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Janice (James) Opila of Edgerton, WI and Sue Jording of Polacca, AZ; one son, Jeff (Carol) Jording of Clinton, IL; three grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob and Jared Jording; one sister, Ruth Bachman of Bloomington; one brother, Donald (Erma) Fehr of Roanoke. She was preceded in death by her parents. Peggy worked for the Commerce Bank in Roanoke as a teller for over 20 years. She was a member of Home Extension and loved volunteering at the Et Cetera shop in Eureka. Peggy was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home in Roanoke. The Rev. Doug Hicks will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. According to her wishes, cremation rites were accorded. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
